Born and raised in the Denver area with multiple degrees from Colorado institutions of higher education, Jim has spent his life working and learning with people from all walks of life. Construction, ski lift operator, golf course maintenance, Alaska charter boat fisherman, waiter, bartender, student, vagabond traveler, and teacher have enabled him to see the United States, and much of North America through the eyes of many different societies and developed in him an understanding of community. Having retired from teaching in Mesa County public schools after 27 years, the time came to establish a new career. Real Estate, to him, will be a terrific retirement-just as busy as he needs it to be and allowing him to share his experiences and empathy with customers from many different backgrounds.
